Comments
Comments: Lower portion of the trail in fantastic shape - I didn't know it could be so nice given that I've only hiked it in rainy conditions! Could be difficult to follow with the blowdowns if one is not familiar with it (as the footbed is a little faint at times). Snow begins as the trail climbs up North Tripyramid from Scaur Ridge - I personally was very happy to have light traction to descend this section, as it is icy in places. Still intermittent snow between the peaks, as reported previously.
