Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Student Conservation Association (SCA) out of Manchester are on the Hancock Notch section putting in water bars, clearing water bars and building "rip rap" type structures. Thanked them for their work. Hancock loop could use some brushing. Whole hike shows lots of erosion in many places.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Saw one. Plenty of water down low. No water on the loop.
Bugs
Bugs: Few mosquitos. Never felt the need for repellent.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Lost a pair of prescription sunglasses. Either left them in the Lincoln Woods restroom (ladies), or possibly the parking lot (Hancock).

Comments
Comments: Great day out. First time I had been on these in the non winter months so was surprised by the amount of erosion. Took the bushwhack in to avoid the crossings but decided to see what the trail/water crossings were like for an update to post. Trail is fine. All water crossings are easy with no wet feet. After rain may be a bit harder but not now. One muddy/wet section after the crossing near Cedar Brook junction.
