crossing all low today with some slippery rock..no issues |

section to bald knob in great shape with much new work noted..once into the climb to the ridge though the erosion damage from recent storms is very evident..trail is pretty rough.though newly blazed |

sun came out down below in the later afternoon and while not biting there were annoying little bugs |

sections of the trail in very good shape..others pretty rugged with recent erosion. always seems wet on this side so moss is a factor as well but with foot placement no real issues. hazy socked in views with fog on south kinsman didm warrant lingering long..nice little breeze felt good on the ridge but the climb was stifling with HHH conditions..hydrating with pinot noir as we speak. first back to back since winter as hip pointer injury finally coming around..hurt at times but managed…great to be out..finished up august knee grid today |
