Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Avoided 2 on way up and 4 on way down with couple different bushwhacks (See silverfox's 7-20-14 report for an excellent description). Ones we did cross were easily rockhopped and water levels had dropped during day.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: As mentioned in earlier reports lots of recent and planned work on water bars, drainage, steps etc.. Great job on completed work. Met a trail maintainer up between summits brushing out path so a nice wide corridor now. 15 years as this trails adopter and has been involved with lots of work out there like the planking in muddy areas on ridge last year. Well appreciated by all!
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Don't recall seeing any today. Water a little scarce on the loop steeps.
Bugs
Bugs: Few skeeters biting at times.

Comments
Comments: Better day than expected; comfortable with moderate views. Couple of ole hikers out rehabbing back into form; myself with ankle and Emerel from his appendix set back earlier this year. Nice to be out when you stop and think about all those that can't be out to enjoy hiking for various reasons. Happy hiking to all!
