Mt. Major lot fairly empty at 8:30, packed at 1:00 PM Carriage Road lot fairly full. |

The only crossing are on the Yellow trail, all of them easily done. |

All the trails were in good condition |

 | Dog-Related Notes: |
Easy trail for dogs although I saw someone carrying a Pekingese which had run out of steam. |

Not too bad with all the wind |

The views from major are spectacular certainly among the best anywhere in New Hampshire. The plane wreck on Belknap gives pause for reflection. |
