| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Large lot where I've never seen an issue for space. Written warnings on leaving valuables and theft potential. |
| Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Mud - Significant |
| Recommended Equipment: |
| Water Crossing Notes: |
All 5 crossings easily rock hopped. I found poles helpful. Also found them helpful for the brook like sections of trail and keeping feet dry. |
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
As noted in earlier reports much recent water bar and blowdown work has been done and greatly appreciated on Rocky Branch Tr.. Planks crossing a small tributary right after first brook crossing may not last much longer. Same goes for the planks on Davis Path. |
| Dog-Related Notes: |
Saw a few well behaved dogs out today. Plentiful water and most would've had no problems with the crossings. |
| Bugs: |
A few mosquitoes present at times but mostly a very enjoyable bug free day. |

| Comments: |
Perfect temps, breeze, views etc.. Met lots of nice hikers; Glen Boulder route used by many. Congrats to Big Earl on 1000th NH 4K and good luck to several on quest of the NH 48 who were closing in on finish. Nice timing to run into Adam on his record attempt and being filed in with his plan by Jeff. Hopefully weather is better in the Pemi today than it is here in Vt. right now. Emerel topped off a great day by providing rides to two seperate groups of road walking hikers on Rte 16. Always a great way to finish a day in the mountains whichever side of the favor you're on. |
