Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Dry boots all day. Trekking poles helped on the crossings.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: It looked like the water bars on Rocky Branch were cleaned out since the last rain. Trails in great shape. Lots of grasses growing in in places, as you would expect, so a tick check is in order end of day.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Saw a few dogs. Plenty of water available. One can hear or see water most of the way. There is even a puddle at the bottom of the cairn on the summit.
Bugs
Bugs: Amazingly, I saw no bugs. Remarkable considering all the water available.

Comments
Comments: Rocky Branch appeared to have recent (this past week?) maintenance on water bars. Recent work on blowdowns is appreciated - the chips still had a fragrance to them. Upper Isolation trail has a few blowdowns near the Davis path, a couple requiring a sit and swing to get over but most easily managed. What a mess this trail must have been a few years ago - kudos to the maintainers! Davis path bog bridges have seen better days but weren't needed today.

About a dozen folks on the summit. Great views! Friendly Canadian Jays.
