It looks like someone was working on the trail recently. There are just a few easy step overs on the trail. |

The snow line is at about 3000'. Monorail, stable and unstable in places. I found it best to try to follow the snow shoe track on the monorail as stepping to either side led to postholing and kitten killing. I wore microspikes just after the chimney to Waumbek and back. It just made things easier for me. It's probably barebootable. Leave you snowshoes at home for this one. |
