Water Crossing Notes: water crossings all fine..there are 3 good sized ones on Stony Brook but all easily navigated

Trail Maintenance Notes: aside from some one needing to rakes leaves off the trails all trails in great shape..no blowdowns..a couple of BIG unavoidable puddles

Dog-Related Notes: no dogs with us today..final summit scramble from this rroute would be very difficult..rest of route has plenty of water and mud to make any dog happy

Comments: sunny and 60 in the valley..in the fog, 42, with 15mph wind on summit...Cloud layer was around 3850 so good views galore along the ridge walk up to Moriah..ledges mostly dry with a couple of slick spots on Carter Moriah Trail. Stony Brook..top half loaded with slippy mossy rocks..bottem half good footing but leaf covered
