 | Comments: |
Great hike on the less crowded trails to Mt Adams and Mt Madison. Trails were generally dry and good footing. Some nice waterfalls along the route and lots of hiking above tree line. Some small ledges on Howker Ridge require care especially on descent. No bears in the Bear Pit.
Saw only five others from Randolph East up to Thunderstorm junction and nobody on the descent from Mt Madison back to Randolph East. Lots of hikers around Mt Adams and Mt Madison. |
