Did a bit of a loop up out of the Great Gulf. Madison Gulf was fantastic, great scrambling, and pretty trail. "Bushwhacked" up John Quincy Adams from the col, steep Class 4 scrambling near the top. Rockwhacked down to Airline which we took to Adams. Down to the hut, then up and over Madison to descend Daniel Webster Scout Trail. Rough and rocky in the upper half, and decently smooth in the bottom, it was a rugged trail. Comfortable temperatures all day long with passing clouds. Thanks to Jake for a great day on the heights!
