Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: On Scaur Ridge Trail, rock hoppable. On south loop of Tripyramid trail, first one from Livermore Trail is hoppable downstream, second is hoppable, third is tricky - wet rocks, submerged rocks, unstable logs. Others are minor and hoppable.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Blowdowns remaining on Livermore, Scuar, and Tripyramid Trails. Removed half a dozen on the southern end of the Tripyramid loop, and at least a dozen on the Livermore Trail this afternoon. Two folks and a chainsaw should be able to clean up the remaining Livermore blowdowns in little time. An axe will be needed for one really big blowdown on flats on the southern end of the Tripyramid loop.

Comments
Comments: Ascended via Livermore Trail, then took old logging road at north Tripyramid junction (north slide looked too wet this morning for me to want to bother with it) up the drainage. Five minute bushwhack from where the logging road finally cuts left (across the brook) to the Scaur Ridge brook crossing. A few small patches of snow up near the top of the Scaur Ridge Trail. Patchy snow heading up Pine Bend Brook, becoming constant a few minutes below the North Tripyramid summit. Microspikes helped a lot, as some of the ledge scrambles had some monorail ice etc. Alternating snow and bare spots between North and Middle, but generally pretty firm. Snowshoes probably not necessary anymore for this stretch. A lot more snow between Middle and South, and not as firm. Trail is a bit vague in places there as well, due to lack of winter use, as well as blowdowns. Barebooted this section though, but it could be an issue if temperatures soar. Still 1-3 feet of snow on the ridge. From the highpoint of South to the top of the slide, patchy monorail. South slide was dry and snow free. Flats below it were generally pretty dry with some mud in the usual spots. Big Pines Trail was dry.
