| Comments: |
Started out early after a drenching rain storm w/ a lot of water on the trail. Water crossings were ominous but doable, a brave young couple followed us through several of them. The climb up North Hancock was a trickling brook all the way. Things dried up a bit after the rain let up in the afternoon. Heard about a marked bushwack around the Cedar Brook crossings but couldn't find it (maybe through the campsite @ the loop trail junction ?) not sure. All crossings were more manageable by afternoon but still high. Some sun by the end of the day as Stitches checks off 34 @ 35. |
