Parking at Appalachia was extremely busy, lots of street parking. Took AMC shuttle to Highland to begin. very busy parking |

Water throughout lower levels, but all easy crossing. |

Some blowdowns and rock jumping, but nothing crazy. |

| Dog-Related Notes: |
Saw tons of dogs on the trails besides Gulfside which is quite rocky and footing could get hard. Gorgeous day for them. |

Luckily due to cold weather and high winds bugs were not a problem. |
