Comments
Comments: Winter keeps trying to make a comeback. I arrived at the trailhead to find a 1/2 inch of fresh snow. New snow depth up high was about 1-2 inches. Started running into "old" snow and monorail after Bunnell Rock. If I stayed on the monorail I was fine but with the fresh snow it was hard to see where it was. Each time I stepped off I postholed so I switched to snowshoes about 1/4 mile from the cabin. I wore them across the ridge to the summit.
