|Date of Hike:
||Saturday, June 14, 2014|
|Parking/Access Road Notes:
||Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Standing/Running Water on Trail |
|Water Crossing Notes:
||First water crossing, nearest Rocky branch shelter #2 we had to take off our shoes. Water was running quite high. There is a bushwack that we took on the return to avoid 2 crossings |
|Trail Maintenance Notes:
||Deak had a great time but rocks were slippery |
|Lost and Found:
||Mt. Isolation was a hike today. Half the trail was basically a stream meaning lots of focus on rock hopping. There is a bushwack around the two crossings just before the shelter. Water was pretty high and running. It did lessen on our return though. |
Summit was beautiful but Washington was clouded in. Still a nice open summit.
Great day hiking with my mom and my dog.
