First water crossing, nearest Rocky branch shelter #2 we had to take off our shoes. Water was running quite high. There is a bushwack that we took on the return to avoid 2 crossings |

Mt. Isolation was a hike today. Half the trail was basically a stream meaning lots of focus on rock hopping. There is a bushwack around the two crossings just before the shelter. Water was pretty high and running. It did lessen on our return though.
Summit was beautiful but Washington was clouded in. Still a nice open summit.
Great day hiking with my mom and my dog. |
