Minimal while moving. Some black flies and an occasional deer fly during the warmest part of the day, but only when idle. |

Trail was generally dry with minor mud in the usual places. Nice quasi-fall air on the upper mountain this morning with a cool breeze. Summit was in and out of the fog in the morning, but broke free before lunchtime. Good to see some familiar faces, as well as many just getting into hiking with this mountain. |
