Comments
Comments: day 1 up to Hale was wet and cloudy... Perfect for Hale. water crossings were fine and the trail was in great shape. we took lend a hand to the hut and rested before settling in on Zeacliff after heading up the Twin Way. Again, the water crossings at the hut were passable but a little high. Day 2 over to Zealand was also wet and windy and the Twin Way is a favorite and in good shape. IT was just a little wet is all. Great work has been done recently or at least it looked that way. Back the way we came and another visit to the hut before heading out on Zealand trail... road walked it to the car. Great weekend!
