Comments
Comments: Other than a couple patches of snow there was no snow until well past the spring (note: not the old well at the bottom, but the actual spring much higher up). From there it was a mix of monorail and bare trail to the summit of Starr King. Starr King's summit had no snow and there was no snow where the old fireplace and chimney are. 1-2 feet of snow in places from there to the summit of Waumbek. Many areas across the ridge had no snow. I postholed some but every time I thought of putting my snowshoes on I hit a stretch of trail with no snow.
