Plenty of parking still at the Caps Ridge trail head and we arrived for a late start close to 10 AM. No fee collected at this lot. |

We saw many dogs and most were having a grand time. One lab struggled with the scrambles and sought another route, becoming separated from its owner. |

The black flies were out and biting below the summit and took chunks out of the unfortunate souls who rested along the way. Just enough of a breeze to keep them off the summit. |

Caps Ridge was the perfect combination of scrambles and views. No issues at all on this blue sky day with dry rocks beneath our feet! |
