| Comments: |
ALPINE WILDFLOWERS IF FULL BLOOM 6-7. Up Eisenhower and Monroe, down the Ammo with party of 4. Diapensia, Lapland Rosebay, and Bearberry Willow in full peak bloom across Eisenhower and Franklin, sub-peak bloom on Monroe. Some Alpine Azalea also in bloom. There are lots of blossoms this year, so get out and see if before it's gone by. Trails are in good shape overall. Ammo had a few typical slippery spots-- but not bad for the Ammo. Extraneous: More than a few thoughtless people stomping around off trail and more than a few groups up high in full cotton hypothermia attire. |
