Comments
Comments: The trail was primarily dry. The short mud sections had rock stepping stones. There was some ice under boulders on the Pine Bend Brook Trail on the north side of North Tripyramid. Down low there were Lady's Slipper in bloom. On the ascent to the junction with the Scaur Ridge Trail there were lots of Painted Trillium including one plant with four bracts instead of the usual three. Also, Hobblebush, Red Trillium, Clintonia, and Trout Lilies were flowering. Many hikers on Tripyramid today using many different approach routes.
