Avalon Trail is about to get some serious summer work, and Mt Tom Spur - which is pretty beat - is marked by the survey crew for significant bog bridges, water bars and drains. Trail crews have cleared blow downs thru Willey Range Tr, leaving massive, impressive woodchips. |

 | Comments: |
No particular issues on the trails and this area will get a lot of rehab soon. Spotted the last strip of ice of the season mid-trail on north side of Willey, hiding under some mud. Met just three other hikers. Lower down, nice hydrangeas blooming along lower Avalon and A-Z. Pearl and Beecher Cascades were impressive. |
