| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Gale River Rd open, and in fine shape. |
| Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable |
| Recommended Equipment: |
| Water Crossing Notes: |
All water crossings easily rock-hoppable. |
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
2 blowdowns @ 0.12 mi and 0.3 mi from the trailhead need some work (see pictures 3&4). Some waterbars need attention.
Blazing in the area of the Spruce Brook/Thompson Brook Crossings could be improved. This is my 6th trip on this trail, and I still can't be sure I know where the 'official' route is. Blazing at the snowmobile trail junction would also be helpful. |

| Dog-Related Notes: |
| Bugs: |
There were an amazing variety and volume of insects on the summit. None biting, just swarming about. A couple suicided into my peanut butter sandwich for a protein bonus. |
| Lost and Found: |
2 trekking poles, a pair of boots, and an orange collapsible water dish were at the trail kiosk. |
