Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: No crossings of note.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: All trails were in overall great shape. Cannon - Mittersill Tr blazed in yellow. There was no sign at the top and no sign or blazes at the very bottom.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: We were the first up the trail today so Marlie took the lead. Lots of puddles and small runoffs for water. Overall easy trails although the scramble up to Bald Mtn could be tricky for inexperienced dogs. No pets allowed at Echo Lake Beach.
Bugs
Bugs: Not an issue today.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Lots of trash along the ski trails. Particularly on Mittersill Peak.

Comments
Comments: The use of these two trails up and over Cannon makes for a nice loop when combined with the unnamed path along the west shore of Echo Lake. I must thank 1HappyHiker for the inspiration. I put my own twist on the loop by adding Bald Mtn and Artist's Bluff. The clouds never lifted and it rained a little but overall still very enjoyable. There was one small patch of snow still just off to the side of the Rim Tr.
