Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: All easy today
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Trail maintenance up on Webster Cliff trail today - water bars cleaned, brushing completed and even got to finally do some blazing. WJT overall in ok shape, no major issues but the water bars could all use a good clean and the Jackson branch is its usual rocky rooty annoying self.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Hannah had a good day supervising trail maintenance, no issues with the terrain and plenty of water to drink and keep cool with. Saw no other dogs.
Bugs
Bugs: A few down low at the end of the day but not biting yet ...

Comments
Comments: Hiked this loop counter-clockwise - day started rainy and foggy and stayed damp and cool until mid-afternoon when it finally started to clear and the sun warmed things up. Isolated patches of ice and frozen monorail on the ridge around 3800', larger patches on the Jackson branch of WJT down to 3500-3600' with another good sized patch around 3300', but all can be avoided easily without traction. Rocks were wet and slippery even on the decent from Jackson. Only saw three other groups all day. Plenty of water and mud but as always a great day of trail maintenance with a few family members, thanks for the help!
