Hit the trails at 5:45 with a refreshing 32 degrees. Refer to Longmark's posting since trail conditions were similar. It was a spectacular day out in the Whites with breathtaking views the entire day. Noticed that someone took the summit stick sign from Wildcat A. Saw only 2 people the entire day heading from hut to the Dome & Height. Heard the loud rumbling of a rock slide while descending from Carter Dome just before the area where the lumber was dropped for the bog bridges. Sounded more like an earth quake!
Congrats to Lady Di for gridding out on a difficult month.
Wonderful day out with my main squeeze. |
