Comments
Comments: Wet and slippery conditions everywhere. Plenty of mud, many sections with either standing on running water on the trail itself. Some bog-bridge sections under water.
There are only a few icy sections left and Steve C, Georg and I bare-booted all the way. The worst section left is on the north side of Carter Dome with a few hundred yards of ice+monorail conditions. We carried spikes but did not feel compelled to use them.
