Blowdown between Kilkenny south and north jcts. causing beaten path around. Couple of broken planks. |

Many black flies in lot upon arrival but that was it. Talked to 2 backpackers doing Kilkenny Ridge Tr. and they said bugs hadn't been bad the previous 2 days. |

Wet and muddy feet on this hike right now. About 50/50 dry vs. wet trail. Cold showers and hail from 12:00-1:00 while up top. Very little ice/snow left up near top and easily rock hopped through. |
