| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
The road's in great shape. 12 cars and 4 Dartmouth vans at the Lodge at 8:00; 20 or so cars at noon. |
|
| Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Snow/Ice - Monorail (Unstable) |
|
| Recommended Equipment: |
|
|
| Water Crossing Notes: |
All the bridges are in great shape, and the rock-hops were easy. |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Everything's in great shape; there's one big step-under near the top of Asquam Ridge and a little rotten monorail here and there, but nothing that'll even slow you down. It looks like the DOC's getting ready to do a lot of work on the water bars. |

Didn't see any, but they'd be fine. |

| Comments: |
Beautiful day to be out walking around in the woods. The only bummer was the wimpy temporary sign at the summit and the knocked-over cairns.
I was amazed first by the weather- didn't even have to put on a jacket at the summit and the views we good- and then by the lack of crowds- only two others on top, and I passed three groups on my way down. |
