| Comments: |
Garfield Trail was wet and slippery but good except for one larger ice patch which due to rain was extremely slippery. The Garfield Ridge Trail to the summit after the junction was largely covered with wet ice. We donned our microspikes for this section up and down as it was very tricky. We saw a group of youngsters doing it without spikes, but they were having their troubles, so traction is highly recommended. |
