Comments
Comments: Lots of water running down the trail and lots of mud today. Solid ice on trail from about 3000 feet which we could bypass through the woods but had to don our spikes about 3200 until we got closer to the steep parts before you emerge to go to the summit. Very windy and cold on top, a very short stop. 3 OTHH's went over to Jackson and the other 7 went back down Jackson. Met at least 10 folks going up almost all in sneakers. We wondered how they'd manage all that ice!
