Comments
Comments: Snowmobile trails leading to Haystack Road were well packed and barebootable. Put on snowshoes for Haystack Road (2" of powder on top of packed snowmobile track).

Herd path from North Twin Trail trailhead to closed bridge is well packed by skier traffic.

North Twin Trail was well packed to first water crossing.

Herd path was well packed by skier traffic to the Firewarden's Trail. Beyond there, I was breaking trail on 3-6" of powder, now well packed.

Broke trail on 3-6", soon becoming 6-8", then 6-12" by the time I reached the first vista, all now well packed. Trail was extremely windblown for the last quarter of that stretch - no sign of previous tracks. Brook crossings are mostly open, but fairly easily crossed.

Trail also very windblown between vistas, 6-18" now well packed.

No sign of any traffic leading toward South Twin.
