Comments
Comments: The original plan was to make a loop of this hike by climbing Reel Brook Trail and then come moth taking the ridge before heading down on the. My Kinsman Trail but concerns of a very muddy trail had us change the hike to an out and back using the Mt Kinsman Trail.

The trail was in pretty good condition until we got to the final climb before the junction with the Kinsman Ridge Trail - a combination of mud, slush, and ice made for tricky footing. While everyone had some spikes on put them on since there were enough spots to step. There was quite a bit of erosion on the steeper section just before the junction. There were similar conditions between the summits.
