Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Only 1 seen today. Fine day for them; plentiful water and nice grade trail.
Bugs
Bugs: Black flies starting to come out; no bother while moving.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Found a pair of nice sunglasses near brook crossing and left them at trailhead sign.

Comments
Comments: Carried spikes and shoes (don't ask me why--should've read last report by Georg). Neither is necessary as Stoney Brook Tr. is totally snow and ice free. Carter-Moriah has a few small rotted snow/ice patches easily barebooted over. Ledges nice and dry today. Several were traversing from Stoney Brook to Gorham; hopefully report from someone for that side of the mountain. Another nice day!!
