We made it across but had to step on rocks that were under water a bit |

Kudos to the people who chopped all the trees between the peaks. |

Baxter did great, had a little bit of sliding going up to the South Peak but finally figured out that it was easier in the woods. |

Bare boot all the way to the start of the Loop. Going up to South there is significant ice even with microspikes there were some scary spots. if you haven't sharpened your spikes you might want to. Between South and North bare ground. ice, snow, deep snow. Snowshoes would not be helpful. Pleasantly surprised to find the trail down from North Peak bare ground all the way until just before the bottom. The small up hill climb after crossing the brook was very icy. |
