| Comments: |
The trails were mostly snow-free, except for the last few hundred vertical feet to the summit, where there were spotty patches of ice before the cabin and an unstable monorail for most of the way from the cabin to the top. Actual summit was snow-free and dry.
Unlike most of NH today, where it was socked-in and raining, the weather on Cabot was beautiful! Partly sunny skies, warm (short-sleeve) temperatures, barely any rain, and generally snowless trails made today an excellent day to bag #32 on the NH 4,000 footers list. I'll be back again after I finish the 48 to bag the Bulge. |
