Nice to finally do a hike w/o carrying snowshoes. Had hoped to go to Owl's Head today but with high water and a wet forecast (and it still being the middle of May)we decided on Tecumseh. Some ice above the ski trail lookout. We opted for spikes but there is more bare ground than ice so they were not necessary if you want to pick your way through the remaining ice. |
