Comments
Comments: The Kinsman Ridge Trail is extremely icy while significant melting occurs which makes the ice unstable, as it breaks in places; higher up, after one leaves the skiing section behind/before reaching the overlook, a section with lots of post holing due to the temps, but not worth carrying snowshoes for that small section; from overlook to summit hardly any use for traction as almost everything is melted; due to icy ascend in lower section of Kinsman Ridge trail I decided to descend via the ski trails--lots of fun 'gliding down' the remaining snow patches. Met total of 3 skiers with 4 dogs enjoying one of the long lower patches
