| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Drove in the Cul de sac and parked there. |
| Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Snow/Ice - Small Patches |
| Recommended Equipment: |
Light Traction |
| Water Crossing Notes: |
I avoided the first crossing by coming in from the Stoney Brook Development, but heard from one man I met that it is rock-hoppable. The other crossings have low water and are easy to cross. |
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Trails are in good shape except short sections of ice or monorail of snow which is expected higher up. |
| Dog-Related Notes: |
Would have been easy for dogs with plenty of water |
| Bugs: |
Still bug free, but not much longer. |

| Comments: |
The trail was drier than I expected and the few short sections of ice or snow, mostly on the Moriah-Carter trail, were easy to either bypass or use branches or little trees to navigate. Carried snowshoes but there is no need for them. I did not use my microspikes as each section was so short and with care could easily manage them; the bare ledges in between the icy sections are much longer and would be a pain to cross with spikes. |
