Comments
Comments: Spring conditions, from dry trail to stream is the trail to 5'+ snow drifts. About a 1/4 mi. past the Mizpah cutoff the herd path headed right up hill. Don't follow!! I hope I made it obvious that the trail goes straight at this point. Follow the snowshoe tract. Much in the trail obscures the direction. I cleaned lots but there is more work to do. Bigger brush/trees than I could handle. Lots that will wait for the snow to go. Past the summit of Pierce - no activity. Snow to the caul between Pierce and Eisenhower then only patches, mostly dry. MSRs past the cutoff.
