Parking/Access Road Notes: Road was closed due to bridges being washed it as stated above.  
Surface Conditions
Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Mud, Snow - Wet/Sticky, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Snow/Ice - Small Patches, Snow - Trace/Minimal Depth, Slush, Snow/Ice - Postholes, Snow - Spring Snow

Recommended Equipment: Snowshoes 
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: 2 Bridges on road going to Garfield Trailhead were washed out. First bridge has ladder down the side. Second was an easy rock hop as well as the other water crossings on the trail.  
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Couple of blowdowns which were easily ducked under or circumnavigated.  
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Saw one dog with a group of three. Threw some snowballs to him that he caught. Nice dog and group.

Bugs: Saw some black flies/Mosquitos at lower elevation.

Comments: Great hike. Thanks to the couple ahead of us that broke the trail. Talked to them on their way down. Made our hike a lot easier because of the lack of blue blazes. Thanks again.
