Parking/Access Road Notes: Parked at the Ferncroft Road trailhead, clearly marked and free parking with a toilet.

Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Ice - Blue, Wet/Slippery Rock, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Snow/Ice - Monorail (Stable), Snow/Ice - Monorail (Unstable), Snow/Ice - Postholes

Recommended Equipment: Snowshoes, Light Traction 
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: One decent sized crossing on Diceys Mill Trail. Cross-able via fallen log or stone hopping with trekking poles. 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Serious blow-downs seen at Square Ledge Trail, trail between Hibbard and Passaconaway is washed out in places with some serious vertical rock scrambles required.

Dog-Related Notes: Too steep for most dogs.

Comments
Comments: Every day will melt more snow and ice but spring hiking had our small group facing falling snow and slippery trails. We abandoned our loop 800ft below the summit of Mt. Passaconaway and evacuated via the Dicey's Mill Trail back to the car.
