Comments
Comments: Up Winslow and down Barlow late in the day (started up at 3, got down at 5). Barlow was muddier and wetter than Winslow (maybe because it was later in the day? but more likely because it's just a lot flatter and water just flows down off supersteep Winslow). Very enjoyable. We both barebooted, I in ratty, falling-apart not-at-all-grippy shoes. Some bigger globs of ice encountered near the top, but it didn't slow us down much. We encountered one hiker who had slipped, but I thought was very doable with no traction.

Summit had awesome views of dark weather systems moving about and rain falling on points north and west. We got caught with a little sprinkle, but mostly we were caught in a dry window with heavier rain north and south.
