Comments
Comments: Expected trail conditions to be much worse. Bare booted to 3500 ft. And then used spikes to ledges. Ledges were bare & wet but good traction. Returned to spikes at Sleeper junction& left them on until we were about 2 miles from trail head. Typical muddy sections on lower part of Dicey Mills Trail. Monorail was very stable & we only sunk an inch into to rail. Large patches of soft ice cluttered Rollins Trail.

The rain held off until the last mile. Have a feeling that trail conditions will change dramatically in the next few days. Per & Georg you should have joined us today!

Great day out with Bill Cronin & my main squeeze.
