Comments
Comments: The trail was mostly bare until reaching Mittersill. Most muddy spots were avoidable. About 1/2 mile from the trail head we ran into a moose obstructing the trail. She wouldn't budge so we headed up directly below the chair lift. Judging from my photos, I'd say she had a rough winter. The final climb from Mittersill to Cannon was on a large soft snow pack. No traction was needed.

The blue bird skies had darkened by the time we got to the summit. We were lucky and beat the rain.

You can check out the moose at my website.

Another wonderful day out with my main squeeze.
