There were rocks to step on. The water was significantly higher on the way down but the rocks were still there, just more water going over them. |

| Comments: |
The first steep section and the part of the trail that goes along the side ridge were very slushy on the way down. After the junction of the Scar Ridge Trail the snow is firmer. I wore microspikes, not sure if they were really helping but I like to think so. One person was wearing snowshoes for a bit. and a group of 5 with no traction at all. |
