Comments
Comments: The Osseo Trail began with little snow. Gradually there was an increase in softened snow & patches of ice, that were easily walked around. Eventually the trail was covered with soft snow. I barebooted most of the way until it was too icy, and put on microspikes, as did Jeff. As I summited Flume one of my microspikes broke, so I changed to Hillsounds. The rocky trail to summit had some bare rock, and some very icy sections. The summit was very cold & windy, and lightly hailing, so I put on a down jacket. The clouds moved in and out so had limited views. Always a great hike.
