| Comments: |
Despite having been closed and ungroomed for two weeks, the Waterville ski trails were still well covered and top to bottom continuous skiing still possible on nice spring snow.
Sosman Trail from ski area to Mt. Tecumseh Trail had a narrow monorail that didn't look to be too much fun to boot. Snowshoes worked well, as one could walk alongside the monorail without postholing. Continuous coverage along the ridge with snowpack of 1-2 feet.
Mt. Tecumseh Trail to the summit was also monorail with good coverage. Sosman summit loop had a very awkward monorail with a tall, steep drop off in places, as well as bare rock in other places. |
