Comments
Comments: Cool temperatures in overnight left the trail firm and made the going easy with just traction. Crawford path up to Pierce was in great shape. From Pierce to Eisenhower it was boney and icy in spots. Snowshoes would have been tough in this section. From Pierce to Jackson was mono-railed but was OK with Hillsounds. Again would have been tough in snowshoes. The Webster-Jackson trail was icy as usual and remained firm into the afternoon so in the end my snowshoes came along for a ride today. Nice day to be above treeline...
